For the past 23 years Top Seed Tennis Academy and the Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center have hosted USTA Pro tennis events, starting as a $50,000.00 ATP Challenger in 2001. After celebrating the 10th anniversary of the tournament, Top Seed was offered a $25,000.00 tournament in 2012. Calabasas is proud of the players who have competed at our Championships. All 5 members of the most recent U.S Olympic Team in Tokyo have played at Calabasas. Our distinguished alumni of players is a list of accomplished players:

We are looking forward to continuing the winning tradition in 2024. As the only world class professional tennis event in the San Fernando Valley, the Cadillac of Calabasas Men’s Pro Tennis Championships and the Top Seed Calabasas Men’s Pro Open, held in September, offer our members and the local tennis community an opportunity to partner with the City of Calabasas along with other local organizations and entities to support these prestigious sporting events. These two Men’s Pro Tennis events are not just tennis tournaments but events that encompass the entire community.
Each of these tournaments is a multiple day event run over the course of 10 to 16 days giving our partners at least 6 weeks of exposure and attention at both the Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center and in the community. A USTA Pro Circuit, ITF World Tour Event
March 16-24, 2024
This is the flagship event for Top Seed Tennis Academy and the first leg of the Calabasas Pro Tennis Series. It is part of the ATP/ITF worldwide professional tour. Sanctioned and sponsored by the United States Tennis Association. Results and live scoring are published and broadcast around the world. Aside from obtaining a wildcard, the only way a player can gain entrance into this tournament is by having an ATP World ranking. Typically, any player ranked lower than 700 or 800 in the world will not get in without qualifying. The entire Southern California tennis community, including the San Fernando Valley and Ventura County follow this tournament.
Over 3000 spectators visit the Tennis Center throughout the week to watch the matches and take part in the various community tennis events during the week. Matches are played during the weekdays as well as two consecutive weekends. Night matches are common during the week. Night matches and activities are scheduled for the second Friday and Saturday evenings with scheduled featured matches and sponsor/spectator events. Sponsoring this event can give comprehensive exposure to businesses, partners, and supporters. Sponsorship categories include the Title, Presenting, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Additional sponsorship opportunities include the Scoreboard, The Drop Shot Game, (a Stadium court game for the spectators), a radar speed gun, and towel bins for the on-court players.
Top Seed Calabasas Men’s Pro Open
September 28-29 and October 5-6, 2024
This is the second leg of the Calabasas Pro Tennis Series. This tournament is sanctioned by the USTA and the Southern California Tennis Association. Prize money for this tournament is usually between $1000 and $2500, depending on how many entries there are. This event is open to all players. Top ranked So Cal juniors, local collegiate players, local pros, and advanced Open players enter this tournament. This event offers our sponsors an additional opportunity of exposure later in the year with banner placement and recognition.
This tournament is played on two consecutive weekends and there are no associated community events. This tournament provides and extra opportunity for exposure. A sponsorship of both tournaments guarantees at least 6 weeks of banner exposure at the Tennis Center. A Gold, Silver, and Bronze sponsorship includes this Pro Open. Individual sponsorships are not available for this tournament except for the Title sponsorship.
